At BoosterPet, passionate and skilled licensed Veterinary Technicians are the foundation of our veterinary care team to enhance the lives of pets, pet parents, and BoosterPet peers. We are looking for those that are self-motivated, driven to succeed and are passionate about elevating veterinary medicine through collaboration, innovation, and providing excellent service. You are an integral part of the team and we want your insight, professionalism, knowledge, experience, positive attitude, and your opinions to help us all be better and work at the top of our field.  

As a BoosterPet team member, you will have the opportunity to meet pets and pet parents throughout the greater Seattle metropolitan area as we partner with local community businesses to provide wellness care to pets.  Our model offers a triad of services consisting of store-front wellness clinics (opening in summer 2021), mobile wellness clinics, and virtual care. 

This position will primarily be responsible for serving our pet community in our mobile clinics. Our partnerships with different pet retailers have allowed us to bring our mobile van and veterinary team right to their front door to meet clients in their neighborhood.

Responsibilities

  • Play an active role in the BoosterPet medical team to provide quality medical care

  • Provide outstanding customer service to each pet parent

  • Ensure medical records are accurate within the practice management system

  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure safety of pets, clients, and team members

  • Drive the business operation through effective scheduling, ordering and people management

  • Support veterinarians in procedures and in communication with clients

  • Advocate for the learning and development of the greater BoosterPet medical team

  • Safely drive to various locations in the greater metropolitan Seattle area to support BoosterPet wellness mobile services at various retail locations

  • Support BoosterPet virtual care services

  • Adhere to Washington’s Veterinary Practice Act for licensed veterinary technicians

  • Live and model BoosterPet’s core values

Requirements

Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure in Washington

Positive, can-do attitude.

You are willing to figure it out and forge ahead to help a growing company succeed in both conventional and novel ways.
