Dr. Kobi Johnson – Director of Medical Operations

After growing up in Maryland, Dr. Kobi Johnson graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Dr Johnson moved to Tacoma, WA in 1998 to pursue full time emergency and critical care medicine and fell in love with the Northwest.  As part of a growing team of dedicated Veterinarians, their small emergency practice grew to be one of the first and largest 24-hour multi-specialty hospitals in Washington.   In recent years, he has focused his career on mentorship, change management, and business development in veterinary practices of all sizes.

Dr. Johnson is passionate about changing the veterinary profession to recognize, evolve and empower the roll of Veterinary Technicians and care for Seattle’s beloved pets.

During his fun time, Dr. Johnson can be found skiing, throwing axes, cooking BBQ, boating with his golden retriever, Doug, or chilling by the woodstove with his one-eyed cat, Mike.
